Start at the archaeological site of Sinte Gitter for a rural walk between the villages of Overwinden and Waasmont. This is probably where Pepin of Landen lived in the 6th and 7th centuries. You will pass by the Castle of Waasmont and a real Gallo-Roman burial mound.
