Description
The source area of the Kesterbeek is the setting for the Kesterbeek Walk, a loop through the fields and woods between Beersel, Dworp and Alsemberg. You start about 100 meters from the Herman Teirlinck House, the protected residence where the writer spent the last 30 years of his life. Walk through the hilly landscape with beautiful views of several valleys, the Pajottenland and Brussels. Taste the local lambic tradition at Brasserie Drie Fonteinen at the starting point or at the Oud-Beersel building's Beer House along the way. This hike is signposted with a 6-sided sign with the name Kesterbeekwandeling.

Sunday, October 9, 2022 by J.D.Fun, varied hike in the beautiful, hilly countryside and occasionally through forest. Largely a sloping trail with sometimes a slightly spicier piece. The signs are not always logically placed, 2 times on the back of posts and therefore not visible from the road. Surface not always pleasant to walk on, stones, cobblestones

Thursday, November 12, 2020 by Milly JennesIndeed a very beautiful route. It is enjoying magnificent views and nature. A very varied walk along backyards, fields and woods. We also did the Zennewandeling the same day. This route is shorter (4.5 km according to the sign) and well signposted. It starts at the same point as the Kesterbeek walk.
