Jozef Leo Cardijn (13 November 1882 - 24 July 1967) was a Belgian priest who was later made a cardinal for his merit as founder and inspirer of the youth movement Catholic Workers' Youth (KAJ), nicknamed De Kajotters. Jozef Cardijn's youth movement was included in the Canon of Flanders.

Cardijn came from a middle-class family from Halle and was a frequent walker. This route was walked for the first time on 11 May 1997 on the occasion of the commemorations of his 30-year death.
