Station walk: Overpelt-Lommel

Description

We chose to walk from the stop 'Overpelt' to the station of 'Lommel'. This turned out to be the best choice, given the course of the walk.

At the beginning of the hike, we follow about 4 km of paved roads to 'Pijnven Rijksbos'. This forest is largely inaccessible to the public. The walk leads us over the 'Paardshaardoornberg', through 'Slijkven', to 'Kiefhoekstraat', which we briefly view before moving on through 'Pijnvenbos' to 'Kattenbos'.

Once through 'Kattenbos', we pass by the beautiful 'Leyssensmolen' and from there continue via unpaved roads to the station of 'Lommel'.
