Parking: NMBS Beringen, Koerselsesteenweg.

Signage: NodeMapp app / GPS.

The walk leads you from the train station in Zolder to that of Beringen. Take the train from Beringen to Zolder, platform 2, and 8 minutes later you are there. Price 2.5€/person.

Varied walk over quiet paths and sometimes some roads, you pass the valley of the Mangelbeek. Generally passable paths.

After 8.9 km you must cross the new railway bridge. The path you then follow is narrow due to the vegetation, but for an experienced hiker, it's no problem. From km 6.4 to the parking, you walk over a part of the new "Streek GR Limburgse Mijnen".

Resting benches: among others at 3.2 and 4.7 km.
