For this beautiful blossom walk, we took inspiration from the 'Wandelclub Goldenstar Borgloon'. We chose their 'Blossom walk of 14 km'. We wanted to make it a bit longer and adapted the walk to 16.5 km.

For this adaptation, we utilized a portion of GR 564 and the local walk orange ball from Mettekoven. The GR 128 is also regularly followed, and those familiar with GR routes know that, where possible, the most beautiful walking paths are used.

The Hulsberg Castle can be admired from all sides during this walk. It was built in 1882 in eclectic style on the cloister site on the Hulsberg, one of the highest points in Borgloon. Due to its high location, the castle dominates its surroundings and in the wide area, its silhouette is a reference point.
