Description
This walk in the heart of Kempen takes you through the rural valley of the Grote Nete. The most famous attraction is undoubtedly the starting point: 't Schipke on the Nete. Around 1900, 't Schipke combined the function of ferry, inn and farm. Director Roland Verhavert shot footage there for the film 'Pallieter' and many artists found inspiration on the banks of the Grote Nete.

Thursday, July 6, 2023 by T.M.It remains a classic along the Nete River. I do it regularly. Nature changes there regularly, winter, summer, Too bad about the part along the big track in Herenthout, but overall a beautiful route.

Friday, September 30, 2022 by Herman Van den reeckAlso left from node 4 because there is a larger parking lot here. Beautiful route, with many unpaved roads with a very varied landscape: forest, fields, slight differences in height and the Nete. Only 1 km boring through a busy lane in Herenthout, but afterwards a field road that makes you forget the crowds.
