We did this walk on 02-20-2025.

This route was offered in February 2025 by VisitMol.be as a Valentine's walk with an additional quest called 'The Love Seeker'.

The walk was a pleasant surprise for us. Although we often go hiking, we had never been to the Schansheide. This nature reserve has only been open to the public since May 2022.

Just past junction 18, you come across a lookout hill. It's worth deviating from the route to climb the hill. This adds about 800 meters to the route.
A small downside might be the section along the relatively busy road (Sluis), just before junction 26 to junction 25.
