The Südeifel Nature Park allows this hike to start in Obersgegen. It was a bit difficult to find parking there. Thus, we left the car right at the Luxembourg-Germany border on a parking strip along the N17. Upon arrival there, you immediately get a beautiful view of Vianden and the Our Valley.

The loop is marked in two directions, and we chose to do it counterclockwise. That was a good choice. The largest paved section comes first. Normally these routes are very well marked, but there were some missing markers. It is best to bring a GPS track and/or map.
