Although the Auto-Pédestre Bürden is only 4.5 kilometers long, the challenging slope makes it a walk not to be underestimated. The journey begins at the cultural center in Bürden and descends into the Sûre Valley.

At the steep bank, the route turns around and quickly leads to the Scharflee. This viewpoint, situated on a rock of the same name, offers a splendid view of Bourscheid Castle and the Sûre Valley.

Subsequently, the Auto-Pédestre follows the river path along the slopes of the Elsterbësch. Shortly before reaching the Wëlschterbaach, the path rises steeply back to Bürden.
