Description
Blue diamond on a white background
The Auto-Pédestre hiking trail in Boulaide starts in the village center and heads west along the Bëllerbaach to the Bauscheltermillen, an inhabited mill from the 14th century. Here, the Bëllerbaach flows into the Sûre.
Next, the path crosses the Sûre and heads south towards the Bungerefermillen, also known as the Bondorfer Mühle, where it crosses the Sûre again.
The path climbs steeply through the forest up to the Houfëls, where one can not only take a well-deserved break but also enjoy the panoramic view over the Upper Sûre Valley.
Then the path descends almost to the bank of the Sûre, passing the Neimillebierg. Just before it reaches the Bauschelbaach, the path makes a U-turn. It follows the stream almost to Boulaide. The last part of the walk, uphill through the meadows, leads back to Boulaide.
