Icon description route Description

We combined two loop walks, ES2 and ES6. Both loops start from the spacious parking lot in front of the beautiful town hall of 'Eschdorf'.

The loop ES2 is about 5 km. We did this one first and then proceeded with the more beautiful loop ES6. We descended between the N15 and the N12. At no point did we find the traffic disturbing. At a hairpin bend of the N12, you cross this road to climb back to Eschdorf. This loop is not spectacular, but it has its charm.

Once back in Eschdorf, you can choose to stop there. We chose to also do the loop ES6. This one is simply beautiful. It descends 100 meters over a distance of 2 km to the picturesque valley of the 'Dirbech', which you follow for a while before climbing back up to 'Eschdorf' via the valley of the 'Millbech'.

Everywhere we saw hair ice. A nice trick performed by the frost.
