Herzele is a place between Zottegem and Aalst on the edge of the Flemish Ardennes.

This flat walk starts at walking junction 67 at Herzele station. The place is easily accessible by public transport (train or bus) and there is also sufficient parking.

Paved and rural roads lead, among other things, past the sports fields around Herzele, first to the church (worth stepping inside) and The Castle.
