Description

It is one of the various fitness courses that start at the Beckerich sports hall.

All routes are marked in one direction. This walk is marked with a light blue color. It's nice that every kilometer you find a mark indicating how many km you have walked or run. Each course has its own color and also a km marking in that color.

The majority of this route runs over wide paths through the beautiful forests located between Beckerich and Hobscheid.

For 1.6 km, you walk right on the Belgium-Luxembourg border where you can still find old boundary markers.

If all this beauty doesn't interest you, perhaps the highlight of this walk, for us at least, is the Hobscheid railway tunnel which is included in the Attert Cycle Route (PC 12). It is a lit tunnel carved from sandstone, with a length of 700 meters.
