Icon description route Description

This magnificent, challenging walk is an Eisleck trail that is very well signposted in both directions.

It starts at the church of Bourscheid. Public transport enthusiasts can take the bus to Bourscheid, but the walk can also start at the Goebelsmühle station. A short approach route is then added.

After the approach route, we departed in Bourscheid on the loop counterclockwise, descending from a height of 490 meters above sea level over a distance of +/- 2 km into the valley of the Sûre to 300 meters. A steep descent indeed. The walk passes by the Dirbach Plage hotel. Time for a delightful cup of coffee.

Almost at the end of the walk, one reaches a trail tree that points the way to the Rouschtert viewpoint. Those extra 50 meters are certainly worth it.
