For the route, we used the Eislekpath Asselborn, a part of the "Gënzentour" bike tour, and a piece of the Escapardenne Eislek Trail. In hindsight, it was an overwhelmingly beautiful combination.

We started the loop counterclockwise, which meant we first did the bit of the "Wëntger Gënzentour" biking route. Where this tour turns right, we went straight ahead to continue on the "Eislekpath Asselborn" loop. The route first goes into the valley of the Fennbach before coming back onto the road via boardwalk paths.

We continued along the Leeresmillen towards the N12, which we passed under alongside the bank of the Trëttebaach. We headed towards Moulin D'Asselborn to go from there via Asselborn, which is touched briefly, to the Plateau de Wincrange.
