For this route, we used the brand-new hiking network "Leader project" in Northern Luxembourg.

Information and a link to the hikes can be found on the Visit Eislek website.

We set off counterclockwise as usual, which meant climbing from the spacious parking area in Kautenbach, situated at +/- 250 m above sea level, to 405 meters over a distance of 1.5 km. Quite a steep climb indeed. The entire hike involves continuous ascents and descents. You frequently encounter paved roads, but that doesn't spoil the walk. There is so much beauty to see that you quickly stop noticing it.
