This walk is signposted in only one direction. Follow L3 and L2

Actually, the intention was to do the L3 walk, but after our picnic in the park by the beautiful 'Château de Meysembourg', we decided to change direction to follow the L2 signs. That certainly wasn't a bad move. Where we would otherwise have continued our way along paved roads, we now went through the beautiful, quiet woods over relatively wide, winding forest paths.

The Château de Meysembourg is a private property and not open to visitors. The current building, dating from 1880, was built by the Count of Arenberg according to the design of architect Charles Arendt in neo-renaissance style. The current owner bought it in 1971. Of the original castle, only the chapel, the moat, and part of the surrounding wall remain.
