Beautiful nature walk in Postel.

The walk takes place mostly through the shady forests of Postel. Postel is mainly known for its Norbertine abbey. This abbey in Postel was from 1138 to 1613 a priory that was subordinate to the abbey of Floreffe. Afterwards, it became an independent abbey. During the French period, the abbey was closed. From 1797, the complex was privately owned for some decades until it was decided in 1847 to return it to the monks. In that year, the Norbertines also returned.
