Discover Sombreffe, the hiking region par excellence in the province of Namur!

Among other things, you pass by Ferme Château de Tongrenelle. This castle of may have disappeared, but the spirit of this glorious past lives on. Surrounded by moats and idyllic nature, the manor bears witness to an eventful history. The site of Tongrenelle, with its unique charm and rich past, is a jewel in the landscape.

Step further, you automatically dive into the history books. For it was in Ligny where Napoleon Bonaparte won his last battle on June 16, 1815 against the Prussian army. Two days later, however, he would be definitively defeated at the Battle of Waterloo.
