Icon description route Description

Start your hiking adventure in the charming town of Chaudfontaine, a spa known for its unique hot spring – the only one in the Benelux and famous for the brand of spring water that shares its name.

The legend of the Devil's Bridge is a fun part of your journey. This is where cunning farmers outwitted the devil, giving the bridge its infernal name. In the past, farmers from the hamlet of Ninane and nearby hamlets used the bridge to go to Chaudfontaine. One day, the bridge collapsed, and the desperate farmers agreed to a devil’s deal to rebuild the bridge in exchange for the soul of the first being to cross it. The farmers tricked the devil by having a goat cross the bridge first, thereby leaving the devil to return to hell without a soul.
