Icon description route Description

Cycle through the Rupel region, past the brickmaking villages of Hemiksem, Schelle, Niel, Boom, Terhagen and Rumst. Boom pans are still a household name in the construction industry. You also cycle through rural Reet and past the castles of Kontich and Aartselaar. Ride over the dikes of Scheldt and Rupel.

Sunday, June 23, 2024 by D.L.This route starts out nice, but from Hemiksem to back to the end point, it is no longer nice. Without GPX you are guaranteed to drive wrong several times. Poor signage, even a broken road. You can choose to ride over a narrow sidewalk or over the stretch of broken road. Not so obvious with a course bike and narrow tubes.

Saturday, July 8, 2023 by P.S.Disappointing route: signage sometimes unclear or missing, too many busy towns and residential areas, major roads. Sights, such as museums, are simply not marked (except for the non-visiting site in Noeveren (No. 2). I will not recommend this route.

Sunday, June 26, 2022 by Vera Van Hoof - TheysNice varied route, in the beginning along a lot of water and the first ½ of the route a lot of drinking opportunity. You come across many benches and picknick tables. In the beginning through narrow streets with those old workman's houses. Also many open fields. Not much parking at the starting point.
Good directions. Highly recommended.
