This 50 km Zeeland bicycle tour has one constant: the Veerse Meer. This brackish water lake is the result of the Delta Works in this region, carried out to protect the province of Zeeland from high water from the sea. To the west, the Veerse Gatdam provides the separation from the North Sea, and to the east it is the Zandkreek Dam that separates the Veerse Meer from the Oosterschelde.
