Icon description route Description

We cycle in the footsteps of the painter Louis Thevenet, who spent the last years of his life (1916-1930) in Halle, painting the majority of his works here.

The starting point is the center of Halle. We then head towards Buizingen and Café Den Herberg, which brews a geuze specially for Thevenet's birthday. Continuing our journey to Beersel, where Thevenet married Emma Tevels in 1908, and passing through Drogenbos (near the FeliX Art & Eco Museum) and the Coloma Park (with a rose garden) in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, we return towards Halle.

This route is offered to you by the city of Halle in cooperation with tourism Flemish Brabant.
